Hello! Happy Easter!
I have no easter card but a birthday card with a golden dolphin to share with you today!
The color combo over at Color Throwdown #385 is teal, aqua and gold.
I found the combination so interesting and decided to play along.
I started off by making a cutting file for the frame with waves, cut it four times with my Cricut. I cut some wavy lines off from the first two layers to make them more 3D, blended Salty Ocean and Peacock Feather DIs, splattered some clear water and gold ink and stacked them together on my card base after I had placed the gold heat embossed golden Dolphin from Lawn Fawn. I had blended some blue DIs on the lower half of the card base. After all the elements were mounted I added some splatters in aqua and gold above the dolphin.
The sentiment is from Papersmooches, was gold heat embossed on a light blue CS and mounted with a layer of vellum.
I want to add one more card in this post.
I drew a lotus flower on a soft blue CS a couple of days ago. And yesterday I ‘ve managed to make a card with that flower. I decided to go with an oriental look. So I only added some blue on the bottom and some white ink on the top of the panel and wrote the sentiment in korean by hand, which means Thank you.
Thank you for visiting!
Wishing you all a wonderful easter weekend!
