Altenew released new Alcohol marker set which is now available in the Altenew Store. The official name is Altenew Artist Marker Set A which coordinates with the colors of already existing Altenew Crisp Dye Ink sets: Green Fields, Cool Summer Night and Red Cosmos.
Altenew Artist Markers are alcohol-based, allowing you to beautifully blend colors to any stamped images. You can also easily pair them with Altenew Crisp Dye Inks to take your coloring to the next level! The colors in this set are designed to be as close as possible to the existing ink colors, so you can take the color guessing game out of the way when coloring.

I had a blast coloring with the new Altenew markers. It is so juicy and blends so well. They are composed as color families, so you don’t need to search for the matching colors.
I made three cards. Hope you enjoy it.
My first card is featuring the Adore You stamp set, my new favorite Altenew stamp :). I used masking while stamping the flower cluster in alcohol marker friendly black ink on Canson watercolor cardstock. After all the stamping was done, I colored the background first using Gansai Tambi watercolor. I added some orange and green on the flowers and leaves as well and splattered the same color to finish off my background. I then colored the image with Altenew markers. I used all four shades of Red Cosmos for the flowers and three shades of Green Fields for the leaves. I trimmed the panel to 4″ x 6″ and mounted it flat on the card base. I stamped and colored two big flowers on another white cardstock, fussy cut them, curled up the petals and adhered them on the flowers of the front panel using some foam adhesive for some dimension. To pop up the stamen I colored them using silver gel pen. I chose the sentiment from the Floral Shadow stamp set to match with the watercolor look.
The second card is in CAS style with a pretty bow from the Bejeweled stamp set as focal point.
As my two other cards are floral and show the Red Cosmos and Green Fields, I wanted to make a blue themed card. The thought I had in mind was a wrapped present decorated with a bow. I started off by stamping the bow from Bejeweled stamp set in black and colored it with four shades of Cool Summer Night markers. I then drew circles in various sizes on a white card stock using a pencil and compass. I colored them in blue along with a bit of green using Frayed Leaf marker. I cut 4 squares from it and foam mounted it on the card base, on which I stuck a light blue cardstock slightly smaller than A2, so that it looks like a wrapped present. I added some silver thread and the fussy cut bow on the center. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, white heat embossed on a piece of green cardstock and tagged to the bow. For some bling I added a clear rhinestone on the eyelet of the tag.
For my last card I went with no-line coloring.
To start off I stamped the flowers and branches from the Remember This stamp set several times on a white cardstock in light pink and light green respectively. I then colored the images using Altenew markers and die cut them all using coordinating dies. Set the die cut images aside, I prepared the card base by blending blue and green Distress inks and adding some white splatters. I then cut a white woodgrain cardstock in an angle to give the flower cluster a platform which was mounted using foam adhesive on the card base. After I assembled the flower cluster onto the card I added the white heat embossed sentiment from Bejeweled stamp set. To finish off I scattered a few clear sequins.
I had so much fun coloring using the new Altenew markers. You can control the pressure and the direction of your strokes so easily with the soft brush tip. Even thin lines were no issue with brush tip.
Here again my three creations together :)!
