Hello everyone!
Hope you are having a wonderful week so far!
Today I have my take #2 on Altenew June Inspiration Challenge to share with you.
I CASEd Debby’s inspiration card quite a bit :).
I started by making the Yupo background panel using alcohol ink and rubbing alcohol: first rubbing alcohol spritzed, then dripped the alcohol inks and blew them. The colors I used are Raspberry, Flamingo, Shell Pink and Snow Cap. The flowers from Extra Special set are white heat embossed on some vellum twice and cut using coordinating die. I colored on the back of them in light pink using Tombow markers. I rounded all the corners of my light gray card base and the Yupo panel. I foam mounted the Yupo panel and then glued the vellum flowers, one cluster was glued flat, the second one was popped up using some transparent foam adhesive. The sentiment is from Extra Special set as well. I white heat embossed it on some dark gray cardstock, fussy cut and foam mounted it onto the card. To finish off I added a pink bow to tie the flowers and some pink rhinestones on the flower centers.
I like this card more than my first trial, but it looks too pink-ish :). Hope it’s okay though.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I’ll be back soon with a card I made for my Guest Designer spot at Time Out :)!
Hugs,
TaeEun
