I have three cards to share with you today.
My first card shows layered Anemones from Fresh Cut Anemones stamp set.
First I stamped anemones in three colors. I used for the soft pink anemones Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Red Sangria Hybrid inks, for dark pink one Hollywood Star, Grand Fuchsia and Pink Derby and for the purple ones Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Grape Crush. For the flower center I used Lemon Drop and Noir. The leaves were stamped using Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Deep Emerald. I fussy cut them all (you can use the coordinating dies, which will be available on June 8th. as well) and set them aside to prepare my background. I made a soft watercolor background in blue, yellow, green and purple and stamped the vase from the same stamp set in Lofty Mint. I then decided to add a vellum vase on it. So I silver heat embossed the vase on a vellum, fussy cut and glued it flat on the background panel where I stamped the vase. I added thin strips of a purple and red Adhesive Glitter tape on the right edge of the card base and mounted the background panel on it. I then arranged the anemone flowers and leaves as shown in the picture. I used some foam adhesive for the flowers on the front for some dimension. The sentiment is from Fresh Cut Anemones Coordinating Outlines set. I heat embossed it in silver on some vellum, cut it in a banner and glued it on the card. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Disco Spring Couture Mix and Glass Slippers Sequins Mix.
On my second card I colored the anemones using no-line coloring technique.
The flower clusters on the bottom is the Anemone Wishes stamp and the single bud on the top right corner is from Fresh Cut Anemone Coordinating Outlines. I stamped them using some Distress inks for no-line watercoloring and colored them with Zig brush markers. I really liked how pink and purple blend together. I blended Orchid Crush and Ballet Slippers on the top of the panel after masking the anemone bud. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I stamped it in Noir on the center of the panel. I die cut the part with the sentiment using Modern Labels die and again from some purple fun foam. I mounted the colored panel flat on the card base and placed the purple foam into the positive die cut space and adhered the die cut label with the sentiment on it. To finish off I added 4 clear Dew Drops.
To start off I white heat embossed the Anemone Bouquet on Canson watercolor paper, applied clear water on the whole panel and went over it with watercolor in soft colors. I used Color Burst powder. After the panel was dry, I added some strokes using colored pencils to give the image more depth. I die cut the panel in an angle using Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on the kraft card base on which I stamped the flower cluster from Anemone Wishes in embossing ink. The sentiment is from Penned Sentiments stamp set. I gold heat embossed it on a strip of watercolor paper which I colored in light blue in ombre pattern. To finish off I added some Glass Slippers Round Confetti.
