Hello everyone!
I’m popping in again to share my DT card for the latest challenge at The Flower Challenge with you! This time we are asked to use a theme of a previous challenge.
I used the theme of The Flower Challenge #13 : Use Your Favorite Flower in October 2017.
I chose magnolias as my favorite flower at that time. For this challenge I watercolored some hydrangeas, one of my favorite flowers!!!
The image I’m using is from EunJi’s new digital stamp set Hydrangea. She released some floral stamps in June on her Etsy shop: DotBStamp and Hydrangea is one of them. It contains three image files.
This is my card!
I used the hydrangea branch in a watering can and placed other hydrangea branch, some single flowers and a hand trowel on the ground on Keynote programm. I printed it on Canson mixed media paper and watercolored the panel using Tombow brush markers.
After done coloring I cut the panel with a Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted it flat on a gray cardbase. The sentiment from Penny Black was gold heat embossed.
I love the color mix of the hydrangea petals!
