I have made a card using Harvest Berries set by PTI. I love ginkgo leaves and in gold they look perfect!
I gold heat embossed the ginkgo branches on some watercolor paper and added Payne’s gray and gold watercolor around the image. I splattered the same colors after the panel was dry. I cut the panel using two of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies by The Ton to make the frame.
I gold heat embossed diagonal stripes (SSS) on the frame and blended True Navy and Light Onyx dye ink (The Ton) on it darkening on two diagonal corners. The happy die cut is cut using Birthday word dies (The Ton) from golden glitter adhesive paper and white cardstock which were stacked together. The “Birthday” is from Motorcycle Boss set (The Ton). I stamped it in True Navy.
I then started assembling the card by adhering the center panel on a navy cardbase. The frame was foam mounted. Then I glued the happy die cut onto the card. Some Medallion Gold sequins were my finishing touch!
