Hello everyone!
Today I have a couple of floral cards to share with you!
My so creative team mate at The Flower Challenge, Rachel Vass designed some gorgeous floral digital stamps which you can get at her Etsy Store. We luckily had the chance to get a first glimpse of her designs and they are all gorgeous. I have made two cards using two of her digital stamps.
My first card is showcasing the Trio of Roses stamp. I extended the image to both sides to make it longer to fit on a A2 sized panel as I wanted to.
I printed out the image on a Neenah solar white panel and drew some petals on the roses of both sides using a Copic multiliner to make the image a bit longer. I then colored the roses using Copic markers. After the coloring was completed, I cut the panel using a pair of deckle scissors and foam mounted it on a red cardbase.
Next image is a beautiful peony bouquet in a vase called Peony Rose Vase.
I printed the image on a Canson XL watercolor paper. Thanks to Ericka, my another team mate at The Flower Challenge, I found out a function in my printer which makes it possible to print on some thick paper!!! YAY!!!
I reduced the opacity of the outlines as I wanted to do some no line coloring. I placed the sentiment on the image already on my computer so I have it also printed with the image.
After the coloring was done, I cut the panel using a die from Leaf Stitched Frames die set (51-552) by Penny Black and foam mounted it on a kraft cardbase. I finished off the card by scattering some clear iridescent sequins.
Aren’t the flowers beautiful? I really love Rachel’s designs! Hope you’ll stop by Rachel’s Etsy shop to take a closer look!
Thank you for stopping by!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Hugs,
TaeEun

I used a sentiment from Ruffled Peony set which I printed on a white cardstock. I cut it and one strip of red cardstock to mat it with. I foam mounted the sentiment onto the card and added some red rhinestones to finish off the card.

I used Karin brushmarkers to color this image. The markers are very juicy and it was very easy to blend the colors on a watercolor paper using a water brush! I used some orange and pink colors for the peony flowers.
