HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Today I have a birthday card for Seize the Birthday to share with you! My first card of this year 🙂 !!!
Have you noticed that Seize the Birthday has a new look? I love the cheerful and fresh feel of the color splash and the font!
The Topping’s option of the first challenge of 2020 has chosen by my lovely team mate Ashwini. She wants for us to add layers to our projects. Btw she has designed the new logo for us !
To add layers to my card I used some of the new dies from Essentials 3 Release by Pinkfresh Studio.
I cut the Fancy Diagonal Stripes from some bright gold shimmer cardstock and adhered it on a textured orange panel in A2 size. This front panel was mounted flat on a kraft cardbase.
The cute tag was made using Teardrop Tag with Fillable Elements die set. I cut the base tag from the same bright gold shimmer cardstock I used to make the front panel and the top layer with the cute flowers from the orange cardstock. To make the tag into a shaker I cut the top layer once again from a coral colored fun foam.
I assembled the shaker tag by adding some glitter as shaker elements. I tied yellow and orange bakers twine on the tag and adhered it on the card front.
The sentiment was cut using Classic Words die set from some heavyweight white cardstock three times and stacked together. To balance out the white sentiment I added two white enamel dots to the card and the tiny white dots to the center of the flowers.
