I made two cards to share with you.
My first card is featuring Large Florals :Peony set. This stamp set has a large peony flower in three layers and a leaf image in two layers.
I stamped the peony in Rose Quartz, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink and the leaves in Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. I fussy cut them and set them aside. There are coordinating cut files in The Ton’s shop, if you can use a cutting machine.
To create the background I colored an YUPO panel in Flamingo and Shell pink alcohol ink. I added lots of rubbing alcohol and moved and dried the inks using a blower.
I adhered the background panel on a light gray cardbase and the leaves on it. the flower was added using some foam tapes.
The sentiment is from Large Florals :Peony set as well. I white heat embossed it on a strip of gray cardstock. I finished off the card with three Glass Slippers sequins.
The next card is showcasing Lifetime of Love stamp set. It’s a great set to celebrate a wedding or anniversaries. I worked with a digital version of the stamp set, as I haven’t received the stamp set at that time. The stamp has arrived while I was coloring the image 🙂 .
I printed out the image arranged as shown in the picture. Surely you can stamp the scene as you want using the elements included in the stamp set like the bridal veil, the pattern of the dress or the bow tie for the bridegroom. I colored the image using Copic markers. I used B34, 37, 39, 99 and V99 for the dress and colored the suit in cool gray. I colored the skin and the hair only very lightly.
I ink blended the background in Violet Fringe, True Navy and Parisian Blue and splattered gold and white watercolor on the panel while covering the image.
After the background was dry I cut the panel using the Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted it on a navy cardbase. The sentiment from the same stamp set was gold heat embossed on a strip of vellum and adhered on the card. Some Glass Slippers sequins were my finishing touch.
