Hello everyone!
It’s time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge! This month we want you to add some leaves to your floral projects! Please don’t forget to make flowers as the main feature in your projects!
I’ve made my DT card using the Build-A-Flower: Rose and Layered Laurel stamp set by Altenew.
I stamped the Build-A-Flower: Rose in yellow using Pocketful of Sunshine mini ink set. For the darkest layers I used Mocha and Espresso from Coffee Break mini ink set. The rose leaves were stamped in Tropical Forest ink set. I cut them with the coordinating die and set them aside.
I also added lots of leaves to the background by stamping Layered Laurel on a white panel in light brown (Coffee Break) and light gray (Warm Gray). I splattered brown and gold watercolor on the greenery. The sentiment was heat embossed in gold on the background panel. Then I cut it to slightly smaller than A2 size and adhered it on a kraft cardbase. The yellow rose was added using foam tape to the leaves which I adhered on the background panel.
That’s it from my side! Please don’t forget to visit The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my amazingly talented team mates and our guest Galina Filippenko !
Thank you so much for looking ! I’d love to see your entry in our gallery!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
TaeEun
