Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a beautiful weekend at home!
Today I’m joining Alex Syberia to celebrate her new release on her Etsy shop! Alex designed beautiful floral digital stamps again, which you don’t want to miss!
I tried to achieve a dramatic look of watercoloring on the beautiful Chinese Peony image.
I printed the Chinese Peony on a Canson watercolor paper. I reduced the opacity to 50{3ef674c9fd176649c89f9051e814eea51265cffdec397d743062752c782d724e} to do no line coloring.
I colored the big bold peony using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I colored the peony and leaves lightly and colored the background dark and heavy in indigo, purple and dark green.
After coloring was done I splattered opaque white ink on the background and a little bit on the flower image. I cut the panel using the Double Stitched Rectangle die by The Ton and adhered the panel on a dark gray cardbase.
I cut the word hello (The Ton) four times from heavyweight white cardstock. I heat embossed one die cut sentiment in Iridescent Sparkle EP and clear EP and stacked the die cut words together. I adhered a thin strip of purple glitter paper on the card and added the word to it. Three purple rhinestones were added and the card was finished!
Hope you enjoyed my card and got some inspiration for your own projects! Please check out Alex’s Etsy Shop and Alex’s blog for more inspiration, before you go create!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a crafty weekend!
Hugs,
TaeEun
