First I did light “alcohol ink wash” on an alcohol ink cardstock. I applied lots of rubbing alcohol on the panel and added drops of Watermelon and Poppyfield alcohol ink. I mixed the ink with the rubbing alcohol by blowing. I added a little bit of Citrus on the top and bottom edge of the panel where the leaves of the
Wild Rose Close Up would be stamped.
After the panel was dry I gold heat embossed the
Wild Rose Close Up on it and started coloring. I dropped Watermelon, Poppyfield and Red Pepper on the petals and moved the inks by tilting the paper. I colored petal by petal. The leaves were colored in Citrus, Botanical and Willow.
After the panel was dry, I cut the word “thank” from the panel using
Bold General Greeting Word Plate die. I cut the word also from some red fun foam.
I adhered the colored panel on a red cardbase, adhered the word onto their places raising it with the fun foam die cut words. I cut “you” using
Sweetheart Word plate die once from white cardstock and one more from
Adhesive gold foil paper , adhered them together and added to the card as shown in the picture. To finish off I scattered some
Medallion Gold sequins.
