Hello everyone!
It’s time for a reminder post for the latest Flower Challenge! We’re having “Monochrome” as our theme this month. Please don’t forget that floral image should be the main actor of your projects!
This time I chose red as my color. I used the Rose Patch stamp and die set by The Ton, which is one of newly released grouped layering stamps.
I stamped the roses in Red Sangria Hybrid, Valentine Red, Spiced Chai and the leaves in Pewter collection colors. The stamped images were cut using the coordinating coverplate die. I also cut some white foliage using Leafy Bits coverplate die.
To create the background I dry embossed a white panel using Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Coverplate die and splattered black watercolor on it. I adhered the background panel on a red cardbase and arranged the roses and leaves on it. I used foam tape to add the roses for some dimension.
The sentiment is also from the Rose Patch stamp set. I silver heat embossed the handwritten font and stamped the rest of the sentiment in Noir.
That was my DT card! Hope you enjoyed looking my card and decided to play along :)!
Please hop over to The Flower Challenge blog ! Out guest Nonni and my team mates have some gorgeous inspiration for you!
