Hello crafty friends! Hope you’re having a restful weekend!
It’s time for a reminder DT card for the latest Flower Challenge! The theme for November is Use a Sentiment! I usually add sentiments to my cards. So it was an easy one 🙂 !
I made a bouquet using various grouped layering floral stamps by The Ton.
First I stamped the flowers using Grouped Fresh Peonies Grouped Fresh Sunflowers and Grouped Fresh Dahlias and cut them using the coordinating dies. The inks I used are listed below.
- Red flowers: Red Sangria hybrid, Lipstick Red and Plum Wine
- Pink flowers: Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink hybrid
- Yellow flower: Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine
- Leaves: Soft Garden, Bright Fern, Deep Emerald
I stamped the outline stamp of the Fresh Cut Sunflowers on a white cardbase in gray and ink blended the bottom of the front in green inks which I used to stamp the leaves. I splattered gray ink on it and let it dry.
After the cardbase was dry I arranged the flowers as shown in the picture using foam tape.
The sentiment is from Grouped Fresh Peonies stamp set. I stamped it in Noir on a piece of white cardstock and cut it using the shadow die from Many Sentiments die set. The sentiments from the Grouped Fresh Peonies stamp set were designed to cut using the shadow die from Many Sentiments die set! It’s totally awesome!
I added a strip of green glitter paper to the card and the sentiment on it. I finished off the card with some Glass Slippers Round Confetti.
Have you enjoyed looking my card? I hope I was able to inspire you 🙂 !

Such a beautiful card! 💜
AMAZING! You coloured and die-cut flowers are gorgeous, especially over top of the softly stamped sunflowers, TaeEun! This creates so much depth and dimension. And I love the sponged green at the bottom with the strip of glitter. So many amazing details. xx
Amazing coloring, TaeEun. I guess I need to take lessons on how to stamp images in the background and add color to the bottom. 😉 It worked beautifully on both your DT cards.
Gorgeous card TeEun and I love the beautiful colors of the flowers! The background stamping also adds a beautiful element to your card!
