Alex Syberia Design – March 2021 Release

Hello and Happy Friday, everyone!

Today I’m joining in Alex Syberia March 2021 Release Instagram Hop. She is releasing awesome collection of digital stamps on her Etsy shop again! My card is featuring Springtime A2 card panel from the new release.

I printed the image in the actual size on a watercolor paper. I reduced the opacity to get gray outline for a no-line coloring look.

I watercolored the image using QoR watercolor. After the coloring was done. I added a bit of dark shades to the petals using Polychromos colored pencils. My plan was to do no line coloring, but I didn’t like the result. So I decided to trace the outline with a black fine liner.

I ink blended the panel around the border in Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed DIs and splattered white opaque ink on the whole panel. The sentiment is from the Smiles set (30-802) by Penny Black. I white heat embossed it directly on the colored panel and foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase.

I finished off the card with a few clear sequins.
