Hello everyone!
Today Pinkfresh Studio is hosting an Instagram Hop to celebrate the release of the new paper collection HAPPY BLOOMS! This floral design with whimsical touch is available in 12″ x 12″ and 6″x 6″ paper packs and various embellishment packs like alphabet stickers, puffy frames, floral ephemera and enamel dots. To show you that you can also use all those goodies for cardmaking not only for scrapbooking, I’m sharing a card on my stop on Instagram!
There are also awesome giveaways to win, so please hop over to Instagram and hop along!
Here you can find the details on my card!
I used a floral patterned paper from the 6″ x 6″ paper pack for my cardbase and chose a floral ephemera with a big bloom as my focal element.
I cut and mounted the floral patterned paper on a white cardbase. Next I cut a white cardstock using the Diagonal Stitched Plaid die and cut the bottom of it with a die from the Classic Edgers die set. I also cut a green plaid patterned paper from the Happy Blooms 6″x 6″ paper pack with the same die and layered it underneath the white panel. I foam mounted the white panel with the green edge on the card.
I chose a floral cluster from the Floral Ephemera pack. For some dimension I colored in the image using Polychromos colored pencils.
I cut the white leaves using the Curvy Leaves die and placed them with the floral cluster on the card. This floral cluster has already a little butterfly. But I wanted it in 3D so I cut out a butterfly from the paper pack, heat embossed it in clear embossing powder and adhered it on the butterfly that was already there.
The sentiment was hot foiled in gold using Perfect Sentiments hot foil plate and cut with the coordinating die.
I finished off the card with some yellow and teal Enamel Dots from the Happy Blooms collection and by adding some sparkle on the center of the big flower.
I have one more card to share! For this card I used an overall floral pattern in blue violet from the 6″x 6″ paper pack.
I cut the patterned paper with the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. I cut the white Ornate Oval Frame and adhered it on the vellum piece with the gold heat embossed sentiment. The sentiment is from Floral Bunch stamp set and the vellum was cut using the Braided Oval die.
I added the oval frame with the sentiment on the card using foam tape. The yellow accents are gold heat embossed branches from Indigo Vines stamp set. I cut them using the coordinating die and colored them in Y Copic markers. I arranged the branches as shown in the picture and scattered a few metallic Jewels to finish off the card.

Such pretty background papers TaeEun and I love your first with the pretty mix of flowers and the diagonal stitched plaid cut in white and in another super green plaid paper with the scalloped edge, and my favourite is the second with the blue all over floral pattern and then the wonderful ornate oval frame with the gorgeous vellum die cut oval beneath and with the lovely gold embossed sentiment on it, and little gems to finish. Fantastic designs! x
