Hello, friends! Hope you’re enjoying the first week of 2022 so far!
As I said in my previous post I have more winter themed cards to share with you! For today’s cards I used the beautiful drawings from Masterpieces series which were released in the last year. In one set you get four art pieces in 3.25”x4.5” which you could combine with any die or sentiment set to make your own projects.
For the first card I used one drawing from the Pinecones and Peace set (50-001). I cut three areas from the image to show them in the windows of my slimline card.
To cut the white slimline front panel I used all three dies from the Slimline Medley set (51-718). They can be used individually but I think together they also make a unique panel! I traced the three circular openings on my white slimline cardbase to place the pieces of the drawing. After I adhered them on the cardbase I foam mounted the front panel on it.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the When Snow Falls set (30-881) in gold on a strip of vellum, cut it into a banner and added it to the card. I adhered a gold enamel dot on the end of the vellum strip.
To add more wintery feel to the card I cut the pinecones and the branches using the Peaceful Pines die set (51-705) and adhered them next to the second window. I watercolored them and added golden accents to them by heat embossing.
The drawing I used for the next card is from the Home for Christmas set (50-004).
I adhered the masterpiece on a white cardbase and foam mounted a frame. The frame was cut using a die from the Stitched Frames set (51-709) . I used a warm gray woodgrain cardstock for the frame. The white branches were cut using the Blustery die set (51-711) and the sentiment is from the Snow Beauty set (30-850).
This card is an example how easy you can create a card using the Masterpieces 🙂 !
For the next card I used again one masterpiece from the Pinecones and Peace set (50-001) and added a frame which was made in the same way like the previous card. The robin was cut using the Nestled die set (51-722).
This time I stamped the sentiment directly on the white frame. The robin and the branches were cut from some watercolor paper. I watercolored the robin and added him to the card with the white branches.
I think the Masterpieces would be a great help, when you need a quick and elegant card! I added some die cut elements to my cards but even without them they would look totally fine and full! Add a frame and the card will already look finished!
Hope I could inspire you with my cards today!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
Have a wonderful weekend!
