Wholeheartedly – Penny Black – rainbow in november

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!

Today I have a couple of cards to share with you. As you may guess I made them with a heavy heart and with a wish that the Ukrainian people can get peace and freedom back in their country very soon. It’s heartbreaking to read and see what’s happening everyday. Hope the suffering of innocent people of both sides of war will end soon.

The heart shaped leafy wreath is called Wholeheartedly (40-817), a cling stamp by Penny Black. I paired it with a dove from Dainty Doves set (30-604).

For this card I watercolored a slimline sized panel in pastel rainbow colors and gold heat embossed the Wholeheartedly (40-817) on it as shown. After that I cut it using a slimline die from Slimline Medley set (51-718) and foam mounted it on a slimline cardbase with a beige panel on top.

The dove was also heat embossed in gold and watercolored in turquoise and yellow. I fussy cut it and added it to the card using foam tape.

For the sentiment I used the Peaceful Pines die (51-705). I cut the sentiment from the same watercolor paper which I used for the background. Some flat back pearls were my finishing touch for this card.

Next card has the same design like the first one in A2 size.

Here I watercolored the background panel in blue and yellow and the dove in pink and gray. The background panel was cut using the Leaf Stitched Frames die (51-552). To finish I added some yellow rhinestones to the wreath.
