Hello and Welcome to The Ton Spring 2022 Release !
It’s a small release with two layering stencil sets and a stamp set, but a gorgeous one as always! The large Blended Peonies stencil set has 4 parts, each in A2 size. You could get four different stenciled floral images with one process, if you want. The Gentle Peonies stencil set creates an overall floral pattern in 6″ x 6″. Using the Cosmos Mail stamp set you can decorate the envelope with pretty cosmos flowers!
I made three cards using the Blended Peonies Stencil set. I chose two color combos and stenciled two images from the set in one color combo and used the other combo for the rest two images.
There is coordinating die set for this stencil set ! As I didn’t have the die I used the digital cut file instead. To start I cut a white cardstock with the cut file and then stenciled the images on it.
For the first two cards I picked pink (Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet, Red Sangria) and teal (Bright Emerald, Hot Tourmaline). I added a bit of Peach Blossom and Lemon drop to some parts of the flowers. The stamen were stenciled in Amber Citrine. I added some yellow pen strokes to the stamen to add texture.
Using the coordinating die this image is cut as one piece which fits on a horizontal A2 card. I cut the Foliage Border from some white cardstock and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. I then adhered the stenciled peony cluster on it.
The sentiment is from the Ribbons Affirmations set. I stamped it in Bright Emerald and True Navy and cut it with the coordinating die. The stamp set has some additional words to complete the sentiment. I stamped “HAVE A” directly on the cardbase in True Navy and made a banner with “DAY”.
Some Silver Rainbow Opaque Rhinestones were the finishing touch for this card.
The next peony cluster image consists of two pieces. So you could arrange them also for a slimline card like I did here.
I used the same colors like the flowers in the first card to stencil this one.
To create the background I watercolored a slimline sized watercolor paper panel in pink and yellow focusing on the two diagonal corners where I wanted to place the flowers. After the panel was dry I cut it with the Slimline Pierced Nested Die and dry embossed it using the Slimline Candy Cane Stripe Coverplate die.
The background panel was foam mounted on a white cardbase. I cut the circles using the Circle Frames Slim Borders Coverplate die and adhered four of them on the background panel as shown in the picture. The flowers were then foam mounted on the card.
The sentiment is from Easy Expressions Birthday set. It was gold heat embossed and stamped in Noir. To match with the gold heat embossed sentiment I scattered some Bright Gold Opaque Rhinestones.
The peonies for the next card was stenciled in red and gray. I used for the flowers Cherry, Lipstick Red and Wine and for the leaves Smoky Quartz and Stormy Sea.
To create the background I ink blended the border of a white cardbase in Red Sangria ink. I ink blended a A2 sized white panel in the same way and cut it using the Convention Coverplate die. I cut the Convention one more time from some white cardstock, layered the two pieces and adhered it on the cardbase. I then splattered white ink on the whole card and let it dry.
This part of the Blended Peonies Stencil set is a cluster of large three peonies. I cut a branch from one side, adhered it to the other side and placed the cluster on the left edge of the card. I then cut off the overhanging area.
The sentiment is from Ribbons General stamp set. I stamped it in Crystal Pewter and Noir, cut it using the coordinating die. I finished off the card with some Red Gem Rhinestones.
That was my three cards for the reveal of The Ton Spring 2022 Release!
Now I want to show you how the last part of the Blended Peonies Stencil set looks. I stenciled it in red and gray like the peonies in the last card. I’ll turn this into a card soon !
This shows how beautiful the peonies of the Gentle Peonies stencil set look when they are stenciled 🙂 ! Not finished! The finished card will be posted soon!

These are absolutely gorgeous!! You are so creative!
Beautiful peonies and fabulous designs TaeEun and I love them all. You are always so inventive with your backgrounds and it goes to show that just dry embossing with the dies can look truly wonderful and also the leafy frame and geometric coverplate dies make great backdrops to your really pretty colours of peonies. x
Incredible cards!! Your cards are always amazing!
