Shimmer & Shine – Pinkfresh Studio July 2022 Challenge

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a restful weekend!

Today I have a card to share which I made for the Pinkfresh Studio July 2022 Challenge! The theme of this month’s challenge is SHIMMER & SHINE.

I made a card with a shiny gold background which features the Stained Glass hot foil plate and Solid hot foil plate. The soft creamy pink flowers are from the Daisy Wreath hot foil plate. I used the colors from the color palette provided in the challenge graphic. I love the softness !!!

I hot foiled the Daisy Wreath in gold on Neenah solar white panel and stenciled the flowers using the layering stencil set. The first layer of the flowers was stenciled in Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz. To stencil the second layer I blended Peach Fuzz again with a heavy hand. The leaves were stenciled in Olive and Evergreen and the center of the large daisies in Warm Buff.

After the stenciling was done I cut the Daisy Wreath using the coordinating die and set it aside.

I had the negative gold foil left from a previous card for which I used the Stained Glass hot foil plate. I foiled a white panel using the negative foil and the Solid hot foil plate. I also hot foiled the sentiment from the Modern Script Sentiments hot foil set. It was also made using a negative foil and the Solid hot foil plate.

I adhered the gold background panel on a white cardbase, foam mounted the Daisy Wreath and added the white negative piece of the wreath to the center. I die cut Leafy Branch from white cardstock and added some branches to the wreath.

Lastly the die cut sentiment was added and a few Metallic Gold Pearls were scattered to the card.
