Hello and welcome to The Ton Summer 2022 Release !

The Ton is introducing eight new stamps and five new layering stencils with coordinating dies today! Five outline stamps in floral and greenery designs, one Grouped layering stamp, a sentiment stamp and one background stamp set are debuting today ! Their coordinating dies are also available!

The new items are ready for preorder! Shipping will start next week.

There are three peony themed and two pansy themed layering stencils which are just gorgeous! The layering stencil sets are in four pieces including three layers for the flowers and one stencil for the leaves. You get very detailed floral designs quickly and easily by stenciling! Coordinating dies are available for the Fairest Peonies Cluster, Pretty Pansies and Bright Pansies stencil sets. The Climbing Peonies can be cut using the Coming Up Peonies coordinating die.

Ink colors I used for the peony stencils :

Flowers:

Leaves: Meadow, Spring Salad

I mixed pink and coral-orange tones for each layer of the flowers. I also used two green colors to stencil the leaves to give them a bit of depth by ink blending the darker Spring Salad on the base of the leaves.

I will show my cards made using these stenciled peonies later ! Stay tuned 🙂 !

Layering Stencils: Bright Pansies, Pretty Pansies

Ink colors I used for the Pansy stencils :

flowers:

Leaves: Meadow

I chose two color tones for the pansies – purple and violet – so that I have a mix of two sorts of pansies in my clusters.

I made two cards featuring the two pansy clusters from the Bright Pansies stencils! The first card is also showing the Confetti Arches background stamp from this release.

After I stenciled the pansies using the colors I mentioned above I cut the pansy clusters using the coordinating die.

To create the background I started stamping the Confetti Arches in violet color family in an ombre fashion. I started with the lightest color – Soft Amethyst and then stamped the next darker color Iris Blooms on only the lower two thirds and finally the Violet Fringe on the bottom part of the stamp. I dabbed off the ink color using a wet wipe from the stamped edge for a smooth transition of the colors. Next I stamped the Confetti Arches using an embossing ink and heat embossed the pattern in white pearl embossing powder.

After heat embossing I ink blended the panel in Soft Amethyst and Iris Blooms also in ombre.

I adhered the background panel on a white cardbase. Before I added the small pansy cluster to the card I gave it a small white base by cutting a white cardstock using two dies from the Double Pierced Rococo Nested Dies. I adhered the center part flat and added the frame using some foam tape.

The sentiment from Fierce Ferns set was stamped in Violet Fringe and cut using the coordinating die. To finish off I added some Soft Amethyst Gems.

I used the large cluster form the Bright Pansies Stencil set for the next card.

I made a white background with a subtle texture for these pansies. First I cut a white cardstock panel with a rounded diagonal side. I dry embossed it using a stencil from the Bright Pansies stencils set to add some texture and ink blended the diagonal edge very lightly in Soft Amethyst and Iris Blooms.

I foam mounted the front panel on a white cardbase and added the pansy cluster on the edge of the front panel using foam adhesive. The sentiment is from the Poppy Close Up set. I heat embossed it in white on a strip of purple cardstock.

To finish off I scattered some Light Purple Opaque Rhinestones.

Next card is featuring the Coming Up Poppies stamp and die set. For a subtle background I used the Confetti Arches stamp set.

I gold heat embossed the Coming Up Poppies image on some watercolor paper and watercolored it in bright red and olive green. After that I cut it using the coordinating die and set it aside.

I chose a soft pink cardbase for this large red poppy image. To add some interest to the background I stamped the Confetti Arches on the front side of the cardbase in Soft Cream.

I cut a white frame using a Scalloped A2 Nested Die and a Rectangle A2 Nested die and gold heat embossed the lower half of it.

I foam mounted the frame on the prepared cardbase and added the Coming Up Poppies on it using foam tape.

The sentiment from the Urban Jungle set was heat embossed in gold and cut with the coordinating die. My finishing touch for this card was Metallic Gold Dew Drops! I love the large gold drops 🙂 !

The last card for today is showcasing a cute arrangement of some plant pots on a shelf by a window. This cute scene is from the Blooming Shelves set.

bs-1-2

I stamped the image on some watercolor paper in Caviar hybrid ink which is watercolor friendly! Then I had the relaxing therapy of watercoloring! After done with coloring I cut the image using the coordinating die. The die cuts the inside of the window frame, so I decided to make it into a shaker card!

bs-4-2

To create an airy and fresh background I watercolored a A2 sized Mixed Media panel in pink, light blue and light olive green. After the watercolor wash was dry I splattered the same pink and green ink on the panel and let it dry.

I stamped the sentiment from the Coming Up Poppies set on the bottom of the panel in Noir and adhered it on a white cardbase.

I added a clear acetate piece on the back of the window and adhered two layers of foam tape on the back of the image. As the shaker elements I used the Crystal clear rhinestones. I added three Seafoam Opaque and three Soft Pink Gem rhinestones to the card and the card was finished!
