Hello, crafty friends! Hope your week is off to a great start!
It’s already time for a reminder post for the latest Flower Challenge with the theme CIRCLE / CIRCLES.
I have two circles in my DT card. One of them is the golden moon 🙂 and the other one has the sentiment ! I used the Botanicals and Butterflies set, Geo Arch hot foil plate and the Foiled Sentiments pack by Pinkfresh Studio.
I heat embossed the Botanicals and Butterflies cling stamp in gold and then colored the images using the coordinating layering stencils. I used Peach Fuzz, Warm Buff and Doe to stencil the branches. The tiny flowers were stenciled in Apricot and Persimmon. The butterflies were colored in Coral Reef, Clementine and Sunshine .
After stenciling I cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside. I had the negative foil of the Geo Arch hot foiling in my stash. I hot foiled a white cardstock using the negative foil and the Solid hot foil plate.
I dry embossed a white cardstock panel using the Geo Arch hot foil plate and cut a circle from the hot foiled Geo Arch panel using a die from the Nested Circles die set. The dry embossed background panel was adhered flat on a white cardbase and the golden moon was foam mounted on it. I then placed the branches and butterflies on the card as shown in the picture.
The circle sentiment is from the Foiled Sentiments pack. I foam mounted it with a butterfly and scattered a few Matte gold metallic pearls to finish off the card.

I really must remember to use those foiling plates for dry embossing! Just love the subtle beauty it adds to your card base, TaeEun! All these colors make me think Autumn is right around the corner – already!! x

I had to keep looking and reading to see how you accomplished this gorgeous card, TaeEun. Using the negative hot foil and lining it up with the hot foil plate embossed background was genius. The colors are so harmonious and give a sense of the season to come.
