Hello everyone! Happy Saturday and Happy World Card Making Day 🙂 !
Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the World Card Making Day 2022 with a ANYTHING GOES challenge and a giveaway! Check out the Pinkfresh Studio Card Blog for more details on this special event!
To join the challenge I made a Thank you card.
I stamped all the images from the Pears and Pomegranates stamp set in Detail Black and watercolored them. I arranged the die cut images in a shape of a rectangle which fits on a A2 panel and secured them with a piece of Press’n Seal.
To give some texture to the background I cut a side of several strips of white cardstock using a die from the Lacey Edgers set and stacked them up slightly offset using foam tape on a white cardbase.
Next I added the arranged images from Pears and Pomegranates to the background as shown in the picture.
The sentiment from the Modern Script Sentiments set was stamped in Detail Black. I stamped it again with an embossing ink and clear heat embossed it. The die cut sentiment was added to the card.
I thought some golden accents would be great. So I splattered gold watercolor on the card and scattered some Metallic Gold Pearls. I also colored some parts of the background panel in gold.
That’s it! I hope I was able to inspire you to play along with us!
