Hello and Welcome to The Ton Anniversary 2023 Release !
The Ton is introducing new floral layering stencils along with one floral stamp in the Anniversary 2023 Release. Some of the new stencil sets are coordinating with previously released stamp or dies! If you have the Sweet Bouquet stamp, Coming Up Dahlias stamp or Close Up Dahlia 2 stamp already, check out the coordinating stencil set from this release!
I made two cards for today.
The first one is showcasing the Sweet Bouquet stencils which coordinate with Sweet Bouquet stamp and die sets from a previous release.
I started off by heat embossing the Sweet Bouquet in white. I colored the image using the new Sweet Bouquet stencils. I stenciled the flowers in two tones – pink and purple. I stenciled the center of the flowers in pink using Bubblegum, Dolled Up and Deep Peony and the tips of the petals in purple using Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe. The leaves were stenciled in Meadow and Spring Salad. The finished image was then cut using the coordinating die.
To create the backdrop for the flower cluster I first watercolored a mixed media paper panel in pink, purple and yellow-green. I splattered the dark purple ink on the panel, let it dry and then cut it using the Scalloped Nested A2 die.
I foam mounted the background panel on a white cardbase and added the flower cluster to it using foam tape. the Sentiment is from the Peruvian Lilies stamp set. I white heat embossed in on a piece of black cardstock and cut with the coordinating die. I scattered some Soft Pink Gem on the card to finish it all off.
For the next card I used the Wild Spray Stencils. It’s a small floral image which can fit perfectly on a corner.
I stenciled the Wild Spray two times to place them on the diagonal corners of my card. I used the same color scheme for this one like the first card. Wild Spray is a three piece set with two layers for the flowers and one layer for the greenery. So I used two light pink inks, two light purple inks and one green ink to stencil the image.
I cut the stenciled floral clusters using the coordinating die and set them aside.
For the background I used the Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate dies. I cut all three layers from white cardstock and adhered them on a white cardbase. Next I foam mounted the floral clusters on the upper right and lower left corners. The sentiment from the Peruvian Lilies stamp set was stamped in Noir and cut using the coordinating die.
I adhered Glossy Black Opaque rhinestones on the center of the flowers and scattered a few Light Purple Opaque rhinestones on the card.

Two absolutely incredible cards, TaeEun! [What is with us and purple lately? I love it!]
Off to see all the anniversary posts!

These cards are both beautiful TaeEun and I love the similar palette of colours with the pinks and purples for the flowers and the pretty greens on the leaves, and the scalloped frame prettily watercoloured on the first, and the die cut plaid layered up in white makes a wonderful background on the second…love the added sentiments and gems too, just perfect finishing touches. x
Gorgeous projects!
