Cherished 2023 III – Penny Black

Hello everyone!

This is the third post where I’m sharing my projects featuring the Cherished 2023 Collection by Penny Black. After pencil coloring and floral cards today I have two more cards with cute PB bears! Both bear images are from one set called Blissful Bears (30-958).

The first card is showing a bear on a tree swing. I watercolored the image and added the Hugs Edger (51-761) die cut sentiment to it!

I stamped the image in Antique Linen Distress ink on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored it. To fill the width of an A2 sized panel I extended the ground while watercoloring.

I adhered the watercolored panel on a white cardbase and foam mounted the white front panel which was cut using the shadow die of the Hugs Edger (51-761) set on it.

The hugs sentiment was cut from a light green cardstock and added to the card.

The next image from the Blissful Bears (30-958) set was stamped in a black pigment ink on a watercolor paper panel.

After I was done with watercoloring I cut the right edge of the panel using a die from the slimline Border Collection (51-717) die set.

To add some interest to the background I cut the right edge of the front of a teal colored cardbase using a die from the Cross Stitch Borders (51-727) die set. Next I foam mounted the colored panel on the cardbase as shown in the picture.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in black on a piece of Almond Cream cardstock. I cut it into a triangle using the Triangles (51-647) die set. I also cut the white thin border using the same die. I added the triangle piece to the card using foam adhesive and the card was done!

That’s for today! The cute bears are so adorable and I loved to mix and match the various die sets from previous releases !
