Hello and Happy Friday, everyone!

I’m on Pinkfresh Studio Card Blog today sharing a holiday card. Have you hopped along at the Magical Holiday Release Blog Hop and checked out the new holiday items? There are modern and fun elements as well as traditional holiday designs.

My card for today showcases the Magical Holiday product suite and the Holiday Greetings Sentiments suite from the new release. To create my card, I’ve used the color palette of the Paris 2024 Olympics, which is so fresh und vivid.

I started by hot foiling the Magical Holiday image in gold twice. I then stenciled the images using the Olympic colors. I stenciled the holly leaves in Sapphire and Stargazer, the mistletoe leaves in Summer Shower and Warm Buff, and the berries in Sparkling Rose. After finishing the stenciling, I cut out the two Magical Holiday images with the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the background, I ink blended the top and bottom of an A2-sized white panel in Sparkling Rose and Summer Shower, respectively, and trimmed it down a bit. I left the middle part uncolored. Next, I dry embossed the panel with the Diagonal Plaid press plate and splattered white opaque ink on it.

After the background panel was dry, I foam mounted it on a white cardbase and added the Magical Holiday images to both sides of the card using foam tape.

The sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Sentiments suite was also hot foiled in gold, die cut with the coordinating die, and added to the center of the card with a thin strip of gold cardstock, as shown in the picture.

I finished off the card with a few Gold Metallic Pearls.

That’s it from me for today!

Thank you so much! I hope you could get some inspiration from my card for a crafty weekend 🙂 !

  1. A different colour palette, but one that works well TaeEun, and the beautifully coloured and die cut stamped borders with the lovely sentiment across the centre works brilliantly, also bringing out the pink and blue by inking and embossing the background finishes it perfectly. x

  2. Gorgeous card! I love the colours, and the blue to pink ink blending in the background is so beautiful!
