Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start!

I’m on the Pinkfresh Studio Card Blog today with a floral card featuring the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die. Since the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate cuts a whimsical floral pattern in a faux stitch style, I wanted to try coloring the die cut panel.

To begin, I cut a soft pink panel with the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die and ink blended the perimeter with Cherry Blossom and Peony to draw attention to the center.

Next, I colored the flowers and leaves on the panel using colored pencils. I started with white and bright yellow-green pencils for the petals and leaves to build a bright base, then added pink and green colors. Once the coloring was done, I attached the panel to a white card base.

Next, I cut only the central flower part of the Charming Stitched Florals from white cardstock, trimmed off the flower, colored it, curved up the four petals, and added it to the center of the background using foam tape. I also added two white branches to the flower, which were cut using the Garden Party die.

To give the card more white elements, I cut a white frame using the Blanket Stitched Octagons die and foam mounted it onto the card as shown in the picture.

The sentiment from the Art Deco Floral Arch Press Plate set was pressed with Cherry Blossom ink on soft pink cardstock, die cut using the coordinating die, and added to the card.

I finished off the card by arranging Ice and Leaf Clear Drops on the tiny circle patterns of the panel and adding one Amber Clear Drop to the center of the flower.

I think it would be fun to color the Charming Stitched Florals panel in different color combinations!

Thank you so much!

Wishing you a gerat week!
