Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio “Here for You” Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from the Raquel Arribas’ Blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to the Pinkfresh Studio Card blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! Here for You is the theme of this Release. Besides the usual floral cluster designs and a floral die set, this release features beautiful product suites in an elegant Art Deco style, perfect for creating striking backgrounds and focal elements. Of course, there are also some essentials and a versatile sentiment suite introduced to complete your projects 🙂 !
This release also includes the large one-inch blending brush set and the useful Reinker case !

My first card features the Art Deco Floral Arch product suite from the new release.

To begin, I hot foiled the Art Deco Floral Arch image onto soft pink cardstock in gold. Then I started stenciling the image using the coordinating stencil set. For the stem, I used two green tones: the bottom part was stenciled in Eucalyptus and Spanish Moss, and the upper part in Sage and Bay Leaf. For the leaves, I used the same ink colors as I did for the stem, starting with yellow-green tones as the first layer and adding an olive green tone to the base of the leaves. For the flowers, I used Cherry Blossom, and to this, I added Peony to give the flowers a darker shade. Once the stenciling was done, I die cut the image using the coordinating die

For the background, I used the same soft pink cardstock. First, I cut it using the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die and ink blended the bottom and both sides of the panel in Cherry Blossom and Peony to create a darker contrast against the Art Deco Floral Arch piece.

I adhered the background panel to a white cardbase and foam mounted the Art Deco Floral Arch onto it. The sentiment ist from the Here For You sentiment Press Plate set. I pressed the sentiment in Lush Forest on a piece of soft pink cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die. I also die cut a gold mirror cardstock to mat the pressed sentiment, slightly offsetting it.

I added the sentiment to the card using foam tape and arranged the Blush clear drops as shown in the picture.

The next card showcases some new product suites from this release: the Garden Party, Dainty Floral Frame and Nested Elongated Ovals

For this card, I started by creating the background panel. First, I ink blended a white panel in four color sections: pink, orange, green, and blue. For each section I used Cherry Blossom and Coral Reef; Apricot and Mimosa; Fresh Pear and Grassy Knoll; Sky Blue and Ocean Breeze, respectively. I then hot foiled the panel with the Dainty Floral Frame Press Plate in opaque white.

Next, I cut the central oval area using a die from the Nested Elongated Ovals die set, and dry embossed the oval piece using two Nested Elongated Ovals Press Plates

I attached the central oval piece and foam mounted the Dainty Floral Frame piece to a white cardbase.

Then, I created my floral arrangement. I die cut a bunch of flowers and branches from white cardstock using the Garden Party die. Using the coordinating stencil set I ink blended the pink flowers with Cherry Blossom and Peony, the yellow-orange flowers with Apricot and Mimosa, and Sunshine, and the leaves with Fresh Pear, Grassy Knoll, and Sage. I arranged the flowers on the right side of the oval window as shown in the picture. The sentiment is from the Art Deco Floral Arch suite, pressed in black, die cut with the coordinating die, and added to the card.
I finished off the card with a few Ballett Slippers and Sky Blue Jewels.

  1. Such a pretty arched frame of flowers and leaves on the first TaeEun and a beautiful floral coverplate background and love the pink and green, then the second with the wonderful elongated oval and really fabulous flowers in such super colours, and what a great idea to emboss the background behind the oval with two of the dies, and the press plate you used on the front in opaque white is gorgeous and love the mix of colours ink blended over the top. Great finishing touches too with the lovely sentiments and gems. x

  2. Such beautiful cards! I really love your Grateful card! The four colours for your inked background are spectacular!

    1. The first card is adorable. The second card however is just beautiful! I know how much thought and work went into creating it. The result is beautiful! Great job

  3. Love the use of the oval dies. Nice to see a simple shape that is a little bit different. Using the florals with the oval cut out is really nice.

  4. Your cards are lovely! I’m drawn to your second card more, but they both are impressive! The arches are an eyecatcher for sure!

  5. That frame! goodness will have to add that to the list….and love the delicate touches, beautiful work, thanks for sharing!

  6. You have the most beautiful touch with inks – I just LOVE how you’ve made an ombre look to set off the beautiful flowers. Gorgeous cards!

  7. Hello TaeEun. Your cards are so beautiful. I love the soft elegant colors and style you chose for your Celebrate card. You have added so much interest by layering elements and shading your inks. The press plate is a beautiful backdrop. It’s perfect how you formed your Blush drop to draw the eye to the peak of the flowers bloom. Your second card is so happy and fun, it just makes me smile.

  8. What a clever use of the Nested Oval Dies and the Oval Press Plates! I would never have thought of using the cut-out as a background focus! Fantastic job!

  9. Your card is gorgeous! I’m so glad you shared how you made that background, as I didn’t know how you made that! What a fantastic look with the pressplate and white ink.
