Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio Joyful Blooms Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from the Isha Gupta’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If not, be sure to head over to the Pinkfresh Studio Blog for all the details on this gorgeous new release and to start the full blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! This collection features three stunning floral washi suites, each with a beautifully designed gold foiled washi tape —one suite even includes two tapes in different color variations! In addition, today’s release introduces unique designs for both focal images and backgrounds.

For this blog hop, I’m showcasing the Leafy Lattice press plate, which creates a delicate and elegant pattern. By using the coordinating die, you can get the individual die-cut elements of the pattern.

I created two cards for today’s hop using two beautiful floral sets – the Peony Perfection and Steeped in Kindness suites – along with the Leafy Lattice suite.

The first card demonstrates how you can vary the die-cut Leafy Lattice pattern to create your own unique arrangement.

To begin, I stamped the beautiful floral images from Peony Perfection in Detail Black and colored them using the coordinating stencils

I stenciled the first layer of the flowers in Peony and Sweet Mustard for a two-toned effect, skipping the second layer to leave some petal areas uncolored. For the leaves, I used Grassy Knoll, Eucalyptus and Limoncello, while the flower centers were colored in Sunshine. After stenciling, I cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the background, I pressed the Leafy Lattice twice – once in Limoncello and again in Cherry Blossom – then die cut them with the coordinating die

I decided to add color and texture to the background. I ink blended a white panel in Cherry Blossom and Limonchello focusing on the areas I planned to place the floral clusters. To add texture, I dry embossed the panel using the Stitched Basket Weave coverplate die. Next, I combined the Leafy Lattice die-cut pieces in different colors to arrange the background pattern for my card. I adhered them to the card using foam tape and added the stenciled floral clusters as shown in the picture.

The sentiment, from the same stamp set, was stamped in Detail Black, cut with the coordinating die and added to the card.

To finish, I embellished the design with a few Blush Clear Drops

The second card highlights the Steeped in Kindness suite along with the Leafy Lattice Press Plate.

I started by heat embossing the Steeped in Kindness image in gold and then stenciling it using the coordinating stencil set.
I stenciled the flowers in various colors using Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum, Peony, Apricot and Sweet Mustard. For the leaves I used Ocean Breeze and Grassy Knoll, with the detailed layer in Eucalyptus. The small flowers were stenciled in Sky Blue and Lavender. The bird were colored in Sky Blue, Summer Shower and Apricot for the belly.

After stenciling, I cut the images with the coordinating die. This set includes a one-piece die for the flowers and bird, an extra die for the teapot and separate dies for the sentiments. So I got an idea to cut the tea pot from the background panel.

For the background, I simply hot foiled the Leafy Lattice on white cardstock in Pastel Mint. I then die cut the teapot from the panel and foam mounted it while attaching the negative panel directly to a white cardbase. Before adhering the teapot, I ink blended its edges in Mint

Finally, I arranged the flowers and the bird as shown in the picture and added the gold heat embossed sentiment from the same stamp set. I finished off the card with three Sky Blue Jewels
