Hello everyone!
Have you enjoyed the reveal of the Pinkfresh Studio “Whispering Views” Release yesterday and hopped along at the Blog Hop ?
Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the Release with an Instagram hop. To start hopping along, please visit Pinkfresh Studio Instagram account!
For today’s hop I created a soft and summery card in pastel tones featuring the Tranquil Water Lilies product suite.

I began by stenciling the Tranquil Water Lilies in orange and pink. To give the petals more depth, I colored the base of the petals darker and faded it out toward the tips.
The ink colors I used are:
- Orange water lilies: Apricot, Mango Sorbet
- Pink water lilies: Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum
- Leaves: Citron, Grassy Knoll
Once the stenciling was complete, I cut them out using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the background, I first ink blended a white panel in five pastel hues: Waterfall, Lavender, Coral Reef, Apricot and Sparkling Rose. Next I added the wave pattern using the stencils in the same ink colors.
I cut the panel with a die from the Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch die set, then dry embossed it with the Petal Grid Press Plate to add interest and texture. I foam mounted the finished panel onto a white card base for dimension.

Next, I arranged the waterlilies as shown in the picture, popping them up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Sippable Scenes stamp set, stamped in Detail Black and cut with the coordinating die.
To finish, I scattered a few Amber and Blush Clear Drops for a dewy, water-droplet effect.

Please hop along with us on Instagram. Awesome inspiration from some amazing crafters and giveaways are waiting for you!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

The water lilies are terrific TaeEun and the background goes beautifully with the added stencilling over the diagonal stitch rectangle and the colours are very pretty. x
