Pinkfresh Studio “Magical Holiday” Release Instagram Hop

For today’s hop, I made a festive red holiday card in a simple look featuring the Festive Foliage Tree product suite.

To start, I hot foiled the Festive Foliage Tree in berry and colored the whimsical Christmas tree design using the coordinating stencil set.

I wanted to create a tree in pink and red tone, so I chose Candy Apple, Mango Sorbet, Bubble Gum and Raspberry Bliss and Sunshine to color the image through the five stencils.

After finishing the stenciling, I cut the image with the coordinating die and set it aside.

To create the red background, I first ink blended the bottom third of the front of a red cardbase in Candy Apple. I hot foiled the Twist Pattern on a red panel in berry and die cut it with the coordinating die. I also added red ink blending to the bottom of the die cut Twist Pattern. I cut the Twist Pattern one more time from red fun foam to give the hot foiled pattern some dimension. I adhered them on the cardbase and added the Festive Foliage Tree to it with more foam tape.

The sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Sentiments Press Plate was also hot foiled in berry, cut with the coordinating die and added to the tree.

I scattered a few Ruby Glitter Drops to the tree and background to finish off the card.
