WCMD 2024 Anything Goes Challenge- Pinkfresh Studio

Today is World Card Making Day! To celebrate the WCMD 2024 Pinkfresh Studio is running an Anything Goes Challenge with awesome prizes!

Here’s how to participate: make a card using Pinkfresh Studio products as the main focus and link it up on the WCMD challenge page. You’ll also find all the details on the challenge rules and prizes there.

I made a watercolor style thank you card using the Amazing Things suite.

To start, I heat embossed the Amazing Things image in white on Neenah solar white cardstock and colored it using the coordinating stencil set. I used four colors for the flowers; Cherry Blossom, Peony, Sunkissed and Mango Sorbet to create two-toned flowers in pink and orange. For the leaves I used Sage, Eucalyptus and Spruce Tips. 

Once I finished stenciling, I cut the image using the coordinating die and set it aside. 

To create the background, I first watercolored a mixed media paper panel in orange and olive green using Pinkfresh Studio watercolors, which will be released soon. After the panel dried, I splattered orange and green watercolor on it.

Once the panel was completely dry, I cut it using three dies from the Blanket Stitched Octagons set. I adhered the central piece and the outer frame flat to the cardbase, and foam mounted the inner frame. I also trimmed off the four corners of the cardbase.

Next, I foam mounted the stenciled Amazing Things image to the card. The Sentiment is from the Playful Petals set. I pressed it in black and cut it with the coordinating die.
To finish off the card, I added three Amber and three Leaf Clear Drops.
