Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio  “Gentle Greetings & Greenery” Release Blog Hop !!!

If you arrived here from the Raquel Arribas’ Blog, you’re right on track. If not, please head on over to the Pinkfresh Studio Card blog to get all the information about the full release and to start the blog hop!

It’s release day at Pinkfresh Studio! Today, we’re unveiling a stunning collection of new products, including cute and elegant floral suites, a bold scripty sentiment suite, and a fun, innovative die and press plate suite designed to add unique accents to your projects. Don’t miss out on these exciting additions to inspire your creativity 🙂 !

I made a couple of cards, both featuring the Cheerful Blossoms suite and the Interlaced Diamonds suite. The Cheerful Blossoms stamp set includes lots of cute and simple floral clusters, which can be stenciled and cut using the coordinating one-piece die

I heat embossed the images in white and colored them using the coordinating stencil set in bright pastel shades for a cheerful and airy look. For the flowers, I used Sunshine, Apricot and Sparkling Rose.  I stenciled the leaves in Ocean Breeze and added Slumber to darken the base of the leaves. The centers of the flowers were stenciled in Warm Buff.
After stenciling, I cut the images using the coordinating die

I started creating the background for the first card by ink blending an A2 sized white panel in pink and light blue. For the top of the panel, I ink blended Sparkling Rose and added the Bubble Gum to the edge for an ombré effect. The bottom of the panel was ink blended with Waterfall and Slumber.
To add texture to the background, I cut the ink blended panel using the Intricate Stitched Ovals coverplate die and adhered it to a white cardbase.

Next, I lightly ink blended another white panel with Sparkling Rose and Waterfall, then hot foiled it using the Interlaced Diamonds press plate in opaque white. After hot foiling, I die cut the hot foiled pattern using the Interlaced Diamonds die. I also cut three more Interlaced Diamonds from white cardstock to stack them for added dimension. Once assembled, I adhered the Interlaced Diamonds to the background.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Basic Sentiment four times from white cardstock. I ink blended one of them with Waterfall and Slumber to create an ombré light blue effect and adhered it to the top of the stacked sentiment layers. The shadow layer was cut from white cardstock and added behind the sentiment for contrast.

Finally, I arranged the floral clusters from the Cheerful Blossoms set around the sentiment, as shown in the picture, and scattered a few iridescent clear drops to finish the card.

To create the background of the second card, I used the negative hot foil left after I made the first cards. I hot foiled a light blue panel using it and the solid hot foil plate

I then dry embossed the panel using the Interlaced Diamonds die to add texture and adhered it to a white cardbase.

For the sentiment, I used the Thinking of You press plate and cut it into a white oval panel using the Nested Elongated Ovals Blanket Stitch die. I arranged the pastel colored floral clusters from the Cheerful Blossoms set around the oval sentiment panel, as shown in the picture. To embellish this card, I added Sky Blue Jewels

  4. Both cards are beautiful TaeEun and all the colours are so pretty with the Interlaced Diamonds background and the sweet little flower clusters on both, and then the die cut and coloured ‘Thanks’ on the first and the ornate oval sentiment mat on the second…perfect! x

  5. I love the ombre background of the Thanks card. The added layers on the sentiment and the die cut for the background added so much dimension and interest to this card. The second card was
    very nice also.
