My first post of this year is a sneak peek for the Pinkfresh Studio January 2025 Release!
This year, Pinkfresh Studio will bring you 5 days of sneak peeks for the new Pinkfresh Studio releases before they officially go live!
Today marks the first sneak peek day of the January 2025 Release, themed Beautiful Life.
The release will go live on Jan.14th!
With my card I’m showcasing two product suites from this release: the Butterflies in Bloom and the Decorative Circles.
The Butterflies in Bloom stamp set features a gorgeous floral cluster and a pair of delicate butterflies.
I started by heat embossing the images and sentiments in Liquid Platinum and coloring the images using the coordinating stencil set. I chose a warm color palette with tones of yellow, orange, and hunter green.
The ink colors I used are:
- Yellow-orange flowers: Sunkissed, Fruit Punch, and Sweet Mustard
- Leaves: Eucalyptus and Lush Forest
- Small yellow flowers: Sunshine
- Butterflies: Sunshine and Sunkissed, with a touch of Ocean Breeze at the base of the yellow hind wing to create a light green effect
After finishing the stenciling, I die cut the images and sentiments using the coordinating die and set them aside.
For the background, I created a watercolor panel using Pinkfresh Studio watercolors in Evergreen and Spanish Moss (to be released soon). I then die cut the panel with the Nested Rectangles: Postage Edge die and foam mounted it onto a white cardbase.
To bring the design together, I layered the floral image onto a Decorative Circle mat ink blended with Lush Forest and added the butterflies as shown in the picture. The sentiment, also from the Butterflies in Bloom suite, was adhered to the card using foam tape.
To finish off the card, I added a few Emerald City Jewels for a touch of sparkle.
