Hello and Happy Thursday, everyone!
It’s already time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday! Our team member Vicki chose the Toppings option for the next fortnight. She wants us to add touch of green to our project!
I stamped the layering type writer in Soft Garden, Bright Fern, Light Onyx and Smoky Quartz. Next I stamped the sentiments in Noir. The sentiments are also from Vintage Type stamp set. I masked the letter “u” when I inked up the third sentiment.
I chose an embossing folder in a retro look (by Spellbinders) for the background. I embossed a white cardstock panel and adhered it on a green cardbase. I then foam mounted the type writer.
I had stamped the letters using the Layered Floral Alpha stamp bundle and all cut using the coordinating die and have them in my stash. I picked a letter which was gold heat embossed and embellished with yellow flowers (stamped in Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Soft Garden and Bright Fern) to add to the card. The floral “U” was mounted using some foam tape.
I finished off the card by scattering some green sequins from Frosted Spearmint Couture Mix.
