Today’s card features the Step into Style and Arched Elegance product suites from this release. It’s a simple and quick design, but full of stylish details 🙂 !
To begin, I pressed the Step into Style press plate in Detail Black onto white cardstock and then used the coordinating stencils to color the image. I colored the high heel in purple using Hydrangea and Opulence inks. The gift boxes were stenciled in light blue with Waterfall and Paradise, while the bow and the wings behind the heel were colored in pink using Cherry Blossom and Peony ink. Once done with stenciling, I die cut the image with the coordinating die and set it aside.
For a chic and elegant background, I used the Arched Elegance stencil and die sets. The arch and the door were colored in pink, light blue and purple using Coral Reef, Ocean Breeze and Lavender inks. For the small metal details, such as the doorknob, I used Wisteria, and the light was colored with Sunshine and Mimosa.
After finishing the stenciling, I die cut the Arched Elegance panel with the coordinating die and foam mounted it onto a white cardbase. I then placed the Step into Style image on top and added the sentiment from the same press plate set, pressed in Detail Black. To finish the card, I highlighted the high heel and bow with a white gel pen and adhered three Ice Clear Drops for a touch of sparkle !
