Hello everyone!
I made one more card for the Pinkfresh Studio April 2026 ChallengeOmbré Obsession. Ombré gradients are one of my favorite ways to create backgrounds, and I especially love this challenge color palette of yellow, orange, and pink – a combination I have often used for my projects.

For my focal point, I chose the lovely girl from the Couture Grace suite. I stenciled her dress in a pink ombré gradient and also created an ombré background by stenciling the heart pattern from the Refined Grid suite using the challenge colors.

To begin, I pressed the images from Couture Grace in Detail Black and stenciled them with the coordinating stencil set, coloring the images only partially. I used Peach Fuzz for the skin, Doe and Espresso for the hair, and Peony and Raspberry Bliss for the dress, blending the lower part of the skirt in an ombré gradient. The ribbon on the dress and the flower centers were colored with Apricot and Peony. Once the stenciling was finished, I die cut the images using the coordinating one-piece die and set them aside.

For the background, I first die cut an A2 sized panel using the Refined Grid coverplate die. Then I stenciled the hearts with the Refined Grid stencil set, blending Peony and Raspberry Bliss on the lower half, and Apricot and Lemon Whip on the upper half. I softly blended the colors where they met to create a smooth ombré transition.

I adhered the background panel flat onto a white cardbase and foam mounted the girl on top. The sentiment from the Couture Grace press plate set was pressed in Detail Black, die cut, and added to the card with foam tape. I embellished the sentiment and the girl’s dress with the small flowers, and finally added a few Silver Metallic Pearls for some shiny accents.
