Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start!
I’m on the Pinkfresh Studio blog with a holiday card featuring some beautiful new festive products from the Season of Wonder Release.
For this card, I created an all over patterned background using individual images from the Seasonal Sprigs Washi tape, then added texture and dimension with the Celestial Weave die. A large gold-foiled sentiment from the Treasured Greetings set became the focal point with elegant gold details for a classic holiday look.

I started by adhering the Seasonal Sprigs Washi Tape onto large sticker backing paper and die cutting the individual images with the coordinating die.
For the background, I lightly ink blended the outer edges of a white A2 panel with Sage, keeping the center lighter. I then peeled the individual washi images from the backing paper and arranged them across the panel to create my own all over holiday pattern. I let some of the images extend beyond the edges and trimmed off the excess.

Next, I die cut the patterned panel with the Celestial Weave die. I adhered the small negative die-cut pieces flat onto a white card base, keeping them in their original positions. Then I cut the Celestial Weave three more times from white cardstock and stacked those layers together. I added the Celestial Weave piece from the patterned panel on top and placed the dimensional weave back into its original position, which kept the washi pattern continuous while adding texture and height.
To decorate the center of the card, I die cut two lace strips from gold cardstock using a die from The Stitch Edit: Heritage Lace die set and adhered them across the middle.

For the sentiment, I hot foiled the greeting from the Treasured Greetings Press Plate set in gold on white cardstock and die cut it with the smaller die from the Essentials: Dotted Fancy Frames die set. I also cut the coordinating thin frame from gold cardstock and layered it around the sentiment panel. Before adding the sentiment to the card, I tucked in two white branches cut with the Flower Market die for a delicate extra detail.
Finally, I foam mounted the sentiment piece over the gold lace strips and added Matte Gold Metallic Pearls to the intersection points of the Celestial Weave pattern for a festive touch of shine.

Instead of keeping the washi images in their original arrangement, adhere the washi tape to sticker backing paper, die cut the individual images, and rearrange them to create your own custom background pattern. This gives you much more freedom to create a layout that perfectly fits your card design.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope you give this a try and have fun creating your own custom background!
Happy Crafting!
