I’m popping in to share my DT card for the Pinkfresh Studio February 2020 Challenge with you! As it is a month of LOVE we are having the theme HEART & LOVE for February 🙂 along with some pretty pastel colors!
For today’s card I used Simple Blossoms stamp set and Phrase Builder: Sending die set from our January Release. The flowers from Simple Blossoms stamp set reminded me of watercolored flowers which look transparent. So I tried to show the look of airy flowers.
After the panel was dry I ink blended the top in Sky Blue and Summer Shower and the bottom of the panel in Grassy Knoll and Key Lime and then splattered white opaque ink on the background. I cut the panel using Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a gray cardbase. I cut “love” three times from some heavyweight white cardstock using a die from Phrase Builder: Sending die set , stacked them together and adhered it on the card after stamping “sending” from Folk Hummingbird stamp set in a black ink. To give the card some shine I covered the die cut sentiment with Glossy Accents and added some white Jewels to the card.
