Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
I have three more cards to share with you that I made using some goodies from Share the Love Release by Penny Black.
This release is full of love and includes lovely items which will help you to make some pretty Valentine’s Day cards. For my cards for today I’ve used cute floral mini stamp sets. Let’s take a look!
My first card is featuring Potted Passion (30-659) stamp set and the Heart Border die (51-592) from this release.
I started by stamping the Potted Passion (30-659) image on a Neenah solar white cardstock in Memento black ink and coloring it using Copic markers. I colored the heart flowers in RV colors, the leaves in YGs and The pot in C colors. I highlighted the cute hearts using a white gel pen.
To create the front panel with the main image peeking out from a side, I sketched a rectangle and cut it using a kraft knife. I then cut a corner of the panel using Heart Border die (51-592). The middle panel was cut using one of the dies from Stitches of Love die set (51-597) from a pink cardstock.
I chose a soft pink cardbase and stamped the sentiment from Potted Passion (30-659) stamp set repeatedly on it in Tattered Rose DI for more interest.
The next card is showcasing Tenderness (30-655) stamp set. It is a mini stamp set with small roses in different sizes. There is also a coordinating Cut out (51-601)
I white heat embossed the small flowers and leaves on a watercolor paper and colored them in yellow and orange using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I cut them using the coordinating Cut out (51-601) and set them aside.
The sentiment from Love Language set (30-667) was stamped in a black pigment ink on a piece of white cardstock and clear heat embossed. I cut the panel using one of the dies from Stitches of Love die set (51-597).
Now it’s time to assemble my card. I mounted the background panel flat on a yellow cardbase, foam mounted the sentiment panel onto the center of it and arranged the small flowers as shown in the picture. To finish off I scattered some yellow and clear sequins on the card.
The last card is showing the pretty flower from Dear Friend stamp set (30-663).
I gold heat embossed the flower on a watercolor paper and colored it using Color Burst in blue, purple and pink. I cut it with the coordinating Cut Out (51-599) and set it aside.
To create the background in matching colors with the flower, I ink blended an A2 Neenah Solar White panel in Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean and Picked Raspberry DI, splattered clear water and tapped it with a paper towel. I also splattered white ink on it.
After the background panel was dry I dry embossed it with the whole set of Stitches of Love die (51-597). I cut a white frame using two dies from the same set.
I adhered the background panel on a white cardbase and mounted the frame and the flower on it using some foam adhesives. The sentiment is also from Dear Friend stamp set (30-663). I white heat embossed it on a strip of navy cardstock and added it onto the card.
That’s the cards I wanted to share with you today! Hope you liked looking them!
Wishing you a restful and crafty weekend, my friends!
Hugs,
