Hello again everyone!
I have a couple of daisy cards to share with you. I made these to enter into Twofer Card Challenge #3: Blossoms.
I’ve seen so many gorgeous entries for Twofer Card Challenge on the blogs I visited in last months. I missed previous challenges but this time with the theme “Blossoms” I didn’t want to miss it again!
I used Daisy Close Up (Full View) Cling background stamp from The Ton to create my cards! This is a new addition to the Close Up series by The Ton!
I started off by gold heat embossing Daisy Close Up on CansonXL watercolor paper (5″x5″). I kept this card in blue shades by watercoloring the petals using Prussian Blue and Cerulean Blue from Color Burst powders. The center of the flowers was colored in yellow and gold.
After done with coloring I cut the panel using a Double Stitched Square die. I glued the frame flat on the cardbase. I added a mat of white cardstock on four sides of which I adhered Adhesive Gold Foil paper, to the main panel and foam mounted it onto the card.
The die cut “hi” was cut using Bold General Greeting Word die (The Ton). I stacked three layers of white cardstock and one die cut from Adhesive Gold Foil paper to give the sentiment some dimension. To finish off I added some Medallion Gold Sequins (The Ton).
Here one close-up picture showing the shine of golden elements!
On the second card I colored the daisy in rainbow colors. (I had to cut the yellow and green part :).)
I hope you enjoyed looking my cards!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
TaeEun

This is my first card. It is a 5″ square card.

On the second card I colored the daisy in rainbow colors. (I had to cut the yellow and green part :).)
I white heat embossed Daisy Close Up this time and watercolored it. I then fussy cut the flower and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. I colored a piece of watercolor paper in pink, purple and blue and cut the XOXO from it using XOXO die also from The Ton.
The “I love you” sentiment was made from two stamp sets; Brushed You and Brushed Hugs (The Ton). I combined two small sentiments from them. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of dark navy cardstock, cut it in a banner and foam mounted it on the XOXO.
I finished off the card by adding some clear Dew Drops from The Ton.
I hope you enjoyed looking my cards!
I’ll enter the rainbow card into The Paper Players 385 CAS Rainbow! Thank you for letting me know, Sandy :)!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
