Hello everyone !
It’s Seize the Birthday Thursday! This time around Cathy is our host and she wants us to use Diecuts Only for our projects! As always you may choose the Anything Goes option and link up any birthday themed project into our gallery, if you want!
I used the same die set I used for the previous DT card; The Lovely Dahlia Layering Dies by The Ton. But this time I used only the outline die. To create the background I used the Geometric Circles coverplate die (The Ton).
To start off I cut the outline of the Lovely Dahlia Layering Dies from some white cardstock. I adhered the pieces together on the back of it and colored the petals using some V Copics and C Copics (leaves). I cut the outline once more from some light gray cardstock and adhered it on the colored dahlia.
I ink blended Wilted Violet DI and Crystal Pewter dye ink (The Ton) on a white card base and adhered the Geometric Circles coverplate on it. I then added the dahlia to the card using some foam tape. The sentiment was cut using the Many Sentiments die (The Ton) from a white cardstock which I ink blended in Wilted Violet DI. I layered it up on some white die cut sentiments and added it to the card. The thin sentiment is from City Girls: Special Day set (The Ton). I finished off the card with some sequins from Lilac Blossoms Couture Mix (The Ton).
That’s it from my side!
