Hello everyone!!! Hope your November is starting off well!
Today I have a special card to share with you!!! I had the honor of being a winner at CAS(E) this Sketch in last Summer even twice !!! with this and this card! And today I have a GD spot at CTS 246! 🙂
This is the artistic sketch which Leigh Penner created! Isn’t it awesome ?!!!
The splotchy background is just screaming for alcohol inks :)!
I created the background on Yupo paper using Sunshine Yellow, Mountain Rose, Hazelnut and Gold mixative. The leaves were cut with Sizzix Thinlits Garden Greens dies from some white cardstock and glued flat on the Yupo panel.
The sentiment was cut with hello word die from The Ton from black cardstock and was heat embossed in Extreme Peacock EP. To place my sentiment I cut a small rectangular frame from the same light gray cardstock I used as my cardbase. I foam mounted it onto the card and added the sentiment. Some sequins from Cinderella’s Ride, Flamenco Sunset Couture Mix and Medallion Gold sequins were my finishing touch.
