Hello everyone!!!
A new challenge at Seize the Birthday has started today! This time around we have no Toppings option!!! So you may enter any newly created birthday card into our gallery!
I created a floral birthday card using one of EunJi’s digital stamps. This one is called Botanical Scabiosa. You can see other digital stamps by EunJi at her Etsy shop DotBStamp!
I colored the scabiosa flower using Polychromos pencils in blue and purple. I only focused on the folds and left other part white. The darkest shades are colored in dark cold gray and black. I added some sparkle on the image using Crystal Stickles, cut the panel using Distressed Edges die by Spellbinders and then blended green DIs on the bottom part. I chose a light blue cardbase and stamped Freestyle Stripes in Iris Blooms. I foam mounted the colored panel on the cardbase and added the sentiment banner using some foam adhesives onto it. The sentiment is from Dearest Peony. I white heat embossed it on gray cardstock. To finish off I scattered some clear and iridescent sequins.
