I have two cards to share with you today. My sneak peek cards for today are featuring Spooktacular stamp and die set, Pick of the Patch stamp and die set, Big Polkas cover panel, Layering Scallop Circles cover panel and Circle Rays Duo die set.
My first card is a Halloween card.
I started off by stamping the kids who are dressed up for halloween and the small images from Spooktacular set in black on a Bristol Smooth paper. I colored all the images using Karen brush markers and cut them all using the coordinating dies. I set them aside and started creating the background.
I ink blended two A2 sized Neenah solar white paper panels in Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot DI. One of them was ink blended slightly lighter. I cut the darker panel using the Big Polkas Cover Panel die and the brighter one using the Layering Scallop Circles Cover panel die. I splattered white opaque ink on both panels as well as on the front of a black cardbase. I then layered them using some foam adhesives.
To give the kids a ground to stand on, I cut a hill from some white cardstock. I ink blended the top edge of it in light orange and stamped the sentiment from the Spooktacular set in purple. I adhered the hill with a thin strip of black glitter paper on the card front and added all the kids and small images on it.
The next card for today is a Fall card and featuring the Pick of the Patch stamp and die set along with Circle Rays Duo die set
I stamped the little bear and the leaves, pumpkins and the raker in Antique Linen DI on a Bristol Smooth paper and colored them using Karin brush markers. I cut them all out using the coordinating dies and set them aside.
I cut the large circle ray from some watercolor paper using the Circle Rays Duo die set and watercolored the bottom part of it in brown and gold. I splattered gold ink on a beige cardbase and foam mounted the circle ray slightly offset on it. I then arranged the Fall leaves, pumpkins, the raker and the bear on the circle ray.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in black on a strip of a woodgrain patterned paper, matted it with a brown shimmer paper and added it to the card.
