Hello and happy Seize the Birthday Thursday :)!!!
We have ANIMALS as our Toppings Option for the new challenge! Of course you can link up any newly created birthday card, if you want to.
I chose cats as my animals!
I used the fun cat stamp from Art Impressions which I have for a while. I decided to make a front panel with the cats’ backside and stamped it on a white card stock in A2 size. I stamped the faces of the cats on a separate cardstock. I used Memento black ink for Copic coloring. After done with coloring I cut out the window. I used a square as my guide, which I cut using a Double Stitched Square Die from The Ton. I then glued the face side on the back of my front panel. I cut out a square from my card base using the same die and glued the front panel flat on the card base. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I stamped it in Memento black and drew a wooden panel hanging on the wall and colored it with Copic markers. For the inside of the card I cut a panel with Double Stitched Rectangle Die, stamped the balloons and the fish from MFT and colored them with Copics as well.
To finish off the card I added a strip of a washi tape under the cats to give them something to stand on.
Still I think this card looks too empty, but I don’t know what I can add to :)! Maybe more colors like ink blending or dry embossing?
