Hello everyone!
I had the honor of being the winner at CAS(E) this Sketch early this year. And of course I said yes to Chrissy’s invitation to be a guest designer for the CAS(E) this Sketch #215 :)!
She sent me a pretty sketch by Michele and I took the sketch quite as it is and made this card.
I used Everything Flower stamp by Hero Arts to represent the subtle background in the sketch. First I clear heat embossed the background image on a white cardstock. I then clear heat embossed a full flower from the same stamp image on a separate cardstock and blended pink and yellow DIs on it before I fussy cut the flower. I’ve made a cutting file for the stem and the leaves to cut it out from the clear heat embossed front panel. I sponged green DIs on the card base, foam mounted the front panel and then added the colored flower with some foam adhesive. For the sentiment I stamped slightly curved happy birthday 4 times on a circle frame in black and foam mounted it.
I was thinking about adding embellishments for long but decided to leave my card without any.
