Today starts a new challenge at Seize the Birthday with a new Surprise Party Guest, Anita Bowden from Neat & Crafty. I love her pretty and cheerful CAS card designs!
We have No Toppings option this time, so you can enter any newly created Birthday card!
I’ve made a shaker card with the Floral Border stamp from The Ton and a coordinating die, which cut the inside of the stamped border.
To start off I stamped the Floral Border stamp on Bristol smooth cardstock. I used Aqua markers to color the stamp in different colors. I spritzed a little bit of clear water on the stamp and stamped it on the paper. After the panel was dry, I stamped the image again in embossing ink with the help of Misti and heat embossed it with clear EP. I then added a bit of colors on the peonies using Zig brush pens.
The shaker window was made with the coordinating die. I cut some fun foam twice and glued it together and a clear acetate underneath the colored panel. I used silver, pink and purple beads as shaker elements and added the green background to finish off the shaker card. The sentiment die cut is from The Ton as well. I added the happy in a banner to complete the sentiment.
