I’ve made a card for Altenew January Inspiration Challenge again. This time I was inspired by the picture Yoonsun chose for us and tried to create a similar scene. The idea of coloring in white on dark background came from one of my previous cards.
I used well loved Best Mom stamp for this card.
I started off by making the background. I blended various DIs in brown shades on a watercolor paper and stamped the floral stamp twice with clear water and splattered water droplets. I then gold heat embossed the Best Mom stamp and lifted the colors in the image with clear water and paper towel. I colored the image using white acrylic paint and gold from Fine Tec. I added darker shades around the image using Copic markers. I gold heat embossed the right edge, trimmed down a bit and mounted the panel with fun foam on the cream card base.
The sentiment is from Magnolias for Her. I stamped it on white cardstock in brown and added gold heat embossed strip of paper underneath. To finish off I added some gold dots using Pico embellisher as stamen and scattered a few sequins.
In close up picture you can see the shine of the gold watercolor of Fine Tec!
