Happy New Year !!! Hope your new year is off to a good start!
Today is the first Thursday of 2017 and over at Seize the Birthday we are starting off the year with a new challenge after a long break.
We have no topping option for the next two weeks! You can link up any newly created birthday card!
I’ve made a sweet birthday card for a girl :).
To start off I stamped the little lady with a cupcake (from Penny Black) in Antique Linen DI on Bristol smooth cardstock and colored her using Zig brush markers. I then fussy cut it and set it aside to prepare my card base. I’ve made a cutting file for a scallop edged A2 sized card base and cut it from a white cardstock with my Cricut. For the background I applied white embossing paste through a heart stencil, which I’ve made with Cricut and a clear acetate sheet. After the paste was dry, I drew a shadow where the girl would stand, foam mounted the image and stamped a sentiment also from PB in Grape Juice. To finish off I added some Glossy Accents on the cherry and her hair bow and some white dots here and there.
Now please hop over to the Seize the Birthday blog and let our surprise party guest Rahmat Goose and my teammates inspire you!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
TaeEun
